Do not for one second believe that God is distant and unreachable. He is always there with us, always watching, always ready for us to reach out to Him. The Lord wants us to love Him with all of our hearts. He is there every millisecond for us, no matter how distant we feel He is. Satan and his demons would like for you to believe otherwise, but you can't allow Satan to trick you. You must have faith that Jesus is always there and that He wants good for you. You need to trust Him with all of your heart and soul. You need to keep close to Him in your mind, your heart, and in the way you carry out your actions. Jesus Christ is always there for us, and He wants us to remember Him as often as humanly possible.
When you don't know what type of spaghetti sauce to pick up for dinner at the grocery store, God wants to help you decide. When you have a hangnail, God wants to take the pain away and heal you. When you can't think of an answer during a job interview, God wants to help you. When you don't know what type of paper to buy, God wants for you to ask Him in your mind. Even the things in our lives that are seemingly unimportant to us, God wants to be a part of it all. He wants us to speak to Him whenever we can, whether it be talking to Him in our minds or through kneeling down to Him in prayer. We are all very important to the Lord. Our mundane daily tasks, our fleeting dreams of what seems to us to be the impossible, our awful sense of humor... all of this is important to Jesus. He cares for us very much, more than we will ever know until we are one day at home with Him in Heaven. It is EXTREMELY important to live for Him during the short time we have on Earth. He has plans for us all, but we need to come to Him so He can guide us to fulfill them.
Some of God's people will argue that we should only pray for very little, such as the healing of a family illness or any other large event. Our caring, loving God has given us permission though to pray for whatever our hearts desire, as long as it is His will. If it is God's will, and you believe God will answer your prayers and don't let the devil take your faith, God will fulfill your prayers, no matter how many of them there are. We need to give God thanks and praise for allowing us such wonderful blessings. He is the Creator of all things, He can give us all of our wants and needs. If He doesn't give you something you wanted or thought you needed, and you kept your entire faith in Him to give it to you, there was a reason He did not answer your prayer. This does not mean God doesn't want you to pray for your heart's desires, but He has other plans for you instead. The best way to deal with an unanswered prayer is to talk to God about it. If it is hard to accept the fact that you didn't receive what you wanted or needed, ask Him to help you overcome your disappointment. It just wasn't God's will. Believe though that He has plans of great success for you, as you are one of His children. It is imperative that you do not compare your life to others' lives and others' dealings with the Lord that appear negative. For instance, say your Christian co-worker spent Thanksgiving alone and was very depressed. Maybe God wanted more time with your co-worker and the co-worker didn't realize it. You never know the whole story, as all of our lives are different. We are all the same, yet different. God has made us as a metaphorical snowflake. We are His children, His sheep, and He has different plans for us all, plans to do good for us and for us to do His work while we live on this Earth. You absolutely need to have faith and trust in the Father as much as possible though.
Whether you have problems being close to other humans or not, God is not a human. He is our Father, our Creator. Developing a very close relationship with Him is the most important thing one needs to do during our lifetime. We need to avoid sin as much as possible, try our best to please God in the things we do, and all in all, live for Him. Thank you for reading this and God Bless.
